Having a credit card allows you to access the things you need, at payments you can afford. It also comes in handy for emergency purchases as well.

What is Amazon Platinum MasterCard?

Additionally, you earn Amazon reward points, when you use the card. You can then use these reward points to get discounts on or purchase other items on Amazon.

Now, keep in mind that this is a credit card, so of course you’ll have to pay interest, if you aren’t paying the full thing off each month. However, you don’t pay interest on any of your purchases for the first three (3) months. So that’s pretty cool.

In summary, the card functions just as any other credit card, but with no annual fees, so that’s’ absolutely a plus. In addition to which, it can be used anywhere the card is accepted. So you can earn reward points quickly and easily.

Credit Card Tips & Hacks

Please bear in mind that this is a credit card so you need to use it responsibly. Now, I don’t know about you, but when it comes to credit card interest, I try to avoid having to pay any. The quickest way to pay off credit card debt is to avoid it all together.

So tip number one is to pay your credit card balance in full if you can.

If you don’t pay the balance in full, then be prepared to pay interest. But please understand how this works. If you don’t pay the balance owed in full, then interest will be calculated on your outstanding balance plus any new purchases made during the period before your next credit card bill.

Credit card interest payments are not pretty at all. In some cases, the interest can exceed the actual principal amount outstanding.

The second tip is to pay more than the minimum balance.

If you can’t pay the full balance, than pay more than the minimum amount. Paying just the minimum amount means you’ll take a longer time to pay off the credit card debt. The longer you take to pay off your credit card, the more interest you’ll be paying over time.

So if you pay more than the minimum payment, you’ll pay off the debt quicker and pay less interest in the long run.

The fact that, this MasterCard has no annual fee, makes it very attractive. In addition to which, if you shop on Amazon regularly, it makes sense to get yourself one. The more you shop, the more rewards you get.

However, keep in mind that while a credit card is great to have, you need to manage it wisely to capitalize on the benefits it provides.
